Steps:

  1. Identify a (complex) computer-assisted task that you want to automate with the help of a workflow
  2. Use WDO-It to create an abstract workflow, i.e., a model-based workflow (MBW), for your task
  3. Use Kepler to create a concrete workflow from the MBW
  4. If necessary, create stubs to represent services used by your concrete workflow

Deliverables:

  • The MBW file for the abstract workflow
  • The MOML file for the concrete workflow
  • A 4 page project report describing in plain English the following:
    • The abstract workflow
    • Your difficulties on using WDO-It to create abstract workflows
    • The concrete workflow
    • Your difficulties on using Kepler to create concrete workflows
